Interventional Spine Care
Degenerated Discs, Bulging Discs and Herniated Discs. These are only a few of the conditions we can treat you for.
Radicular pain is a general term used to describe the pain due to an irritated spinal nerve root due to degenerative discs, spinal stenosis, herniated discs, and other spinal issues. It is the result of a nerve root in the spine being placed under tension and inflammation, which causes limb pain. In the lower back specifically, it is known as sciatica, which is pain that stretches down the leg. When the pain is in the neck, it can even stretch to your shoulders, and arms and hands.
At Virginia iSpine Physicians, we can help treat radicular pain, using steroid injections and anesthetic around the affected nerve on the spine. Come visit us today to see how we can help!
